Really fun clicker. I wouldn't call it an incremental, it's more like a resource gatherer than an incremental, but still really fun game.

I loved this game. Last time I was this obsessed with a game was like 15 years ago. I enjoyed everything! Thank you for creating this game and for replying back so fast through email. - Rosa

Hi folks, DEV here. Even considering that this is the "gamejam version", I would be interested to hear your feedback and ideas on what could be added to improve the project. Have fun!...

A game about feeding a fire review

This game is all about carrying logs a long way and pile logs around the fire.

The game feels weak for the first 20 minutes or so, but after that it continued to add depth. It explained itself very well and I understood what was happening and why. Many different setups needed to push for different unlocks, and there is prestige later into the game. Unexpectedly fleshed out, would LOVE to see automation added a zone or two early to not scare people away. Other than the early game where it feels a bit superficial and tedious, this game is an easy 5/5.

Got softlocked when the level-up alerts went above the button to do a reset. Interesting game, but as a lot of people have said, needs better automation. As grindy as certain points of the game are, you should be able to just leave it running and make progress. This way at least every time the automation stopped, it's because you need to make a new decision, not just click a reset button.

Doesn't even work. Pick up 3 sticks and then nothing else works???

Fun up until you find out you need a right click so automation doesn't work on anything without a mouse.

This is why I try even the low rates games. Been hunting for something new like this for a while.

Immediately very difficult to play with the mouse position scrolling.

The thing is... this is not an incremental. This is a people management sim, or a production sim, or you can say a colony sim, like Factorio or Rimworld. You don't just "click and numbers go up". Fist of all, if an incremental has WASD/arrow keys as controls that's a huge red flag unless somehow it's intentional and the dev REALLY knows what they're doing. You wouldn't call "oxygen not included" or "Rimworld" or "Factorio" incrementals, right? you have to spawn drones or people or colonists, those colonists are assigned to tasks and that progresses the game. It's another type of game, not an incremental. Also, on incrementals you rarely (never?) control the player directly, so it's awkward to move Auri, since once the first elves start working she becomes just a camera control. Second, the fact that a game "increments" or "has upgrade systems" doesn't make it an incremental. All games increment, all games have progress or upgrades or skilltrees where things go faster, that doesn't make them incrementals. Third, the whole micromanagement and automation doesn't help the player to let go of the controls, they must actively play the game and spawn more people and assign them to tasks. Generally for incremental games, automation means you don't have to click or play anymore, you can leave it idle or semi-idle and the game plays by themselves. So, in summary: -Production sim or Colony sim -WASD/arrows controls -Automation that doesn't automate anything because you still have to actively play the game and keep setting up new "people/colonists". So, for me it's a big no. And even as a game to be honest, I found it a bit boring. Probably good enough if you want to play it with your 10 year old nephew for christmas, but I wouldn't recommend it for people 18+

The gameplay is too primitive and pointless, even for a prototype. The only good thing is art.

I swear I remember this exact game, but with actual graphics? Don't know what those other reviews are smoking with Degen Idle and increlution, but I do remember pretty much 1-to-1 the zones, mandatory tasks, losing half of items on energy end, 1st zone item being about energy, there being one permanent buff per zone to unlock. Even color-coding being the same

It's short, simple and nice game. Some runs were easier than others, some harder, not very balanced. But for some reason I want to play again.

Interesting. It seems this game had an update which added further content. However, at the end of current content, I have no option but start fresh. This means if it gets further updates I have to start over. Currently this is not a big problem, as the game is short, but I think it will be problematic as it get more content.

Played with sibling, says "unassuming cute short game with elves and presents turns into crazy, insane minmaxing and optimizing all for filling the star gauge. be prepared to reorganize a factory many times" yes.. I like the multiple rooms keeping you guessing.
